Core procedure

Four essential steps

1. 01

   Select RPE with an appropriate protection factor for the task and wearer.

2. 02

   Complete fit testing for the specific tight-fitting facepiece before use and repeat as required.

3. 03

   Carry out a user seal check every time RPE is worn and remain clean-shaven at the seal.

4. 04

   Clean, store, maintain and replace equipment and filters in accordance with instructions.
