Our history

We helped set the standard.

NZAAG was created by key figures in New Zealand’s asbestos industry to raise standards, improve understanding and keep people safe.

Working alongside BRANZ and WorkSafe New Zealand, members of the group contributed industry knowledge to the Approved Code of Practice for the Management and Removal of Asbestos—the country’s central best-practice guidance.

That same purpose guides us today: answer questions clearly, promote compliant practice and put health before convenience.
